SampleForge Agent

Start from a folder of sampled notes, or sample a VST or hardware synth, and turn it into a playable, validated instrument: SFZ, DecentSampler and the MultiSampleEngine plugin, all driven by one manifest. A six-phase agent workflow runs the pipeline step by step.

What it does

Single source of truth

sampleforge.py scans filenames for note, velocity layer and round-robin, and writes a manifest everything else reads.

Two sampler formats

SFZ and DecentSampler

Both exports include round-robin, and can copy the samples next to them so the instrument is self-contained.

MultiSampleEngine

A JUCE sampler plugin

Zones, velocity layers, round-robin, pitch, loops, ADSR, sustain and bend. VST3 on Windows, macOS and Linux, AU on macOS, plus Standalone.

Validator

Check every export

validate_exports.py checks parity, round-robin, coverage, sample paths and loops against the manifest.
